Ack! Such a wonderful way to wake up! I, on the other hand, saw my patient, a 4 year old who needed an operation. I had one staff who was taking care of this patient with me and another staff who I was operating with this morning. Being the resident, I (incorrectly) figured the staff would talk to each other about this child needing surgery and so I booked the room for this little boy to go first in the operating room. Oops! After rushing around to see my other patients and making sure the little boy's paperwork was all in a row to go to the OR, I run into the 2nd staff who is PISSED that I just bumped his scheduled case without letting him know. Oh, what fun, what fun...
