Hello! I'm Laurie and I've decided to give this blogging thing a try--thanks for stopping by! You must know, though, I'm terribly nervous, as I've been an avid blog reader for years, and I know what lovely and inspiring stuff is already out there. Nevertheless, I hope to add at least a tiny tidbit of goodness to the pile--fingers crossed!
A little about me: I'm a former jewelry maker turned nurse who is currently staying at home with my newborn boy/girl twins--until the money runs out anyway! I've got another son in big-boy school and a husband hard at work teaching photography at the Savannah College of Art and Design. More on my supporting cast later this week...
I've spent about 30 minutes searching for a recent photo of me sans kids or pregnant belly without any luck. Oh well, that's how I roll these days, and I couldn't be happier. So, here I am one fine day with my twinsies:
I love to work with my hands making whatever they'll let me. But, since finishing art school over 13 years (gasp!) ago, I haven't really had a place to show what I'm working on to receive some much-needed feedback. I hope this blog may grow to fill that void. I'm so excited! Until then, if you're reading this, please leave a comment...I'm so worried no one will visit, and I'll end up talking to myself, which I do anyway, but you know what I mean.

You know we think you and Dillion are awesome and love getting to know what going on in your life since we are no longer in it.
